NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS Patients who do not have a follow up appointment with the doctor or nurse may contact the practice nurse to discover the result of their tests. Results may take a week or longer to come back to the surgery. The nurse may refer patients on to a doctor if necessary. If your consultant or hospital have asked you to have blood tests carried out at the practice, please obtain a copy of the results from the practice before you attend your next hospital appointment. These will not be sent to the hospital automatically. |
