EMERGENCIES Emergencies take priority at all times - and are seen as soon as possible - It is our aim to offer a non urgent appointment within 2 working days. Rash - please let our PCA know if chicken pox is suspected. This could be very dangerous to some of our patients. If your child has a rash you will be asked to wait in a room away from the general waiting area. If the patient has ‘water-works’ problems, it would be helpful to bring a urine sample. Emergencies outside of normal working hours - Your call will automatically be transferred to the Out of Hours Service when the surgery is closed. Advice can also be sought from NHS Direct on Tel: 0845 46 47 or www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk or in an emergency dial 999. |
